Stay Heavy Fitness

The aim of Stay Heavy Fitness is to be an educational resource for anyone interested in learning more about fitness. I always seek simple, effective approaches to strength training, conditioning, and nutrition – but I do not try to avoid hard work, intensity, or discipline in these approaches. Lifting heavy weight, breathing hard on a regular basis, eating real foods, and getting plenty of sleep really can change your life, and there is no better time to start making positive changes than right now!

It’s important to learn as much as you can, and to fall in love with the process of learning, so that you can continue to take care of yourself for years to come and enhance the quality of your existence. No other asset, possession, or interest should take precedent over your health. 

I will also throw in a healthy dose of heavy metal music, and other motivating or mood-changing genres. Because “without music, life would be a mistake.” – Friedrich Nietzche

So enjoy the journey, learn to love to learn, and stay heavy!
